B/c he posted a full 3 paragraphs to a guy who basicly said he didnt know the stroy so ask someone with more knolege on the subject.
I said absolutely nothing about him suggesting a Jewish person would have further knowledge on the subject, I was replying to what he said about the Jews being God’s chosen people because they were the original followers.
Though that statement was made in less than a sentence, the fact that I wrote 3 paragraphs on it doesn’t mean I was overdoing it or 'bashing' him. If that one statement of a few words had enough fault in it to warrant three paragraphs of criticism, then it deserves three paragraphs of criticism.

I dont know how you debate but i however dont type 3 paragraphs with some bashing to prove someone wrong who basicly openly said they dont know.
How was I 'bashing' him anyway? It wasn’t Ad Hominem at all, and I didn’t even use any insults (there is a difference). Sure, I swear and debate in an aggressive manner, but there was nothing personal aimed at him, it’s just my natural debating style and how I type.

No offence but many religions have the same belief. Its not just Christians.
While some other religions believe in hell, none have salvation or exclusive or hell as bad as Christianity
Christianity - All non-Christians go to Hell.
Islam - Muslims go to heaven, but so do monotheists from other religions. Atheists and polytheists go to hell.
Hinduism - Your next life depends on your good deeds in this life.
Buddhism - Similar to hinduism, but true enlightenment (Nirvarna, non-existence) depends on detaching yourself from desire.
Jehovah’s Witnesses - Non-believers don’t go to hell, they just cease to exist.
Judaism - Jews have varied beliefs on the afterlife, but even the ones who believe in Hell don’t think it’s eternal.
European Paganism - Varied beliefs, but people are usually reincarnated or go to heaven whether they worship the same gods or not.
For your last point - unless of course a person happens to be Asatru (Norse heathen). They believe in the existence of Hel. Not as terrible a place as the Christian “hell”, obviously, but not a preferred place to spend your afterlife.
And some of the Celtic branches believe in various afterlifes, not all of them pleasant.
Otherwise, you’re right as to the general accepted belief. But, within each religion people have different opinions/beliefs:

Hence why I said usually. I know I can’t generalise traits like that to hundreds of different beliefs that existed in the same area. But still, I wasn’t saying they lacked belief in a Hell at all, it’s just rare to come across a culture with a more exclusive Heaven or a more torturous Hell than Christianity. Many judged people based on their good deeds rather than their religion, for example.

Hell seems to be described quite literally in the Bible to me, but I don’t really care that much about interpretation because I’m not a Christian and the Bible is full of contradictions anyway.

Hell, historically, has simple been a place that the average person goes when they die. Hades and Hel are examples of this. Hades couldn’t really be avoided, and to avoid Hel, you had to valiantly die in the throws of battle, where you would then get to chill with the gods in Valhalla so you could fight again along side them at Ragnarok.
The Christian religions steals and twists old ideas... nothing new about this guys.
I’m going to burn in hell because you think so huh...well thank god for that I thought they’d leave me on this earth with the other retards that inhabit this god forsaken world...woot!
NON-God worshippers will not go to hell because if god was a warthful god we would all be in hell and even the god worshippers and all other religion would have to go..... TOO BAD
