How can something look something. Hell we have proof that the world is 4.5 billion years old. Its kinda like we have proof that the world is round haha which actually took the Catholic Church up until 1980’s to except.
point is its undeniable fact. We don’t know exactly how old the earth is but 4.5 billion years is the general area that is fact.

What do you think is an atheist’s best weapon again theism?
Narrowmindedness.
I don’t mean that in a derogatory way.
Many atheists are atheist because they believe the universe is run by the laws of science, and there’s no law of science that says there IS a God, so they don’t believe.
But then again, I’m living proof that you can have theistic belief and still see science as truth.

Yes combining science into philosophy to give credit to god when the credit should have gone to the men who thought of how things actually happened. Now is that offending. Seriously I’m asking.

The men didn’t make the universe or the way it works. o.o; They just figured it out, and I think each of them deserves a standing ovation.
I guess the best way to say it is this:
Science for me explains the world.
Theism for me explains the sciences.

But man created the theism as well. All ideas were created by man. All facts had to be figured out by man. Everything metaphysical is created by man. Why should a god be left out of this selection.
But it’s definetly good to see some diest around here. However you spell that. I like them and agnostic people. At least they’ve gotten over the corrupt religious organizations.

Deism makes sense =P
I’m not denying that. But if men were right about the laws of science, can you honestly say 100%, beyond a shadow of a shred of doubt, say that there can’t possibly be a God or some sort of deity or greater being? No, not really.
