Again... why is it that Muslims make a big deal out of interpretations that they say are scientific yet are so far behind in scientific advancements? We’ve known long before the Quran that global warming existed. When the Quran says how to actually SOLVE global warming then I’ll listen.

3. The author of the Qur’an was a liar

4. The author of the Qur’an obtained knowledge through people from other countries

See how easy that was? And it didn’t have to invoke any supernatural forces. Every wonder why the “sciences” in the Qur’an were never known in the hundreds of years it was written until very recently? Think about that.

This proves absolutely nothing. “Split” could mean anything. A half moon, eclipse, it’s position in the universe, maybe the moon is a metaphor, maybe the split is a metaphor, maybe the verse itself is a metaphor, etc.

Everything you say that is “scientific” in the Quran is nothing but wishful interpretation. You pick and choose how to interpret verses. Some you’lle interpret literally and some you’lle interpret metaphorically based on what YOU want it to say, not what it actually says.
