When a woman says it, it usually means that they believe in astrology and eat alfalfa. Although an actual definition I guess would be something along the lines of “belief in spirits and the soul” which may or may not include belief in God.

They’re too much of a pussy to commit to a belief.
I seriously hope that isn’t serious.
It most certainly is. In my experience, it’s a way of avoiding affiliation with any particular belief. When you ask someone if they believe in a god, “I’m spiritual” isn’t an answer to that question.

That right there, I say I’m spiritual if people ask me if I’m religious meaning I believe in a soul and an afterlife but not in any specific theology.

So what someone is saying when they say “I’m spiritual”, is I believe in something without evidence.

I’m a materialist, but what you just said is a load of crap. You can’t generalise the intentions and motives of everybody who calls themsevles 'spiritual' like that. Some may misunderstand the question, some may not be 'afraid' of religion but aren’t convinced by it, and some may genuinely not give enough of a shit about the exact definition of their beliefs to give an accurate response.
When did Gplex say “I’m spiritual” referred to a response to the question “Do you believe in God?" anyway?

You fail. The Holy Trinity is not the only supernatural belief in the universe.

They probably don’t realise it, but yeah; belief in souls and spirits not only has zero evidence, I’m not even sure if it’s falsifiable, hence it comes from fucked up logic.

What the hell are you talking about? You don’t have to verify a lack of belief.

If someone says that you are, they must be stupid.
If someone says that about themselves, it usually means anything along the lines of their belief/faith in spirits or the supernatural in general. Although, I also see it used as a cop-out as well, like Maggot Face pointed out. It’s actually not that uncommon, but probably not as simple as that either.
Although, it can also mean something along the lines of enlightened, in a religious or supernatural sense. I think it once would be used for people who demonstrated a strong will or very outward personality, such as saying a very energetic or strong-willed individual would have a lot of “spirit," although I believe that is an obsolete meaning.

I specifically said in my experience. Mine, not yours. What I said is not a load of crap, because in the scenario presented (MY experience), what I stated is the case.
As for the relation to theological beliefs, I feel it’s somewhat safe to see it as being at least partially implied, what with it being in the religion section. And yet again, all my experiences with someone stating that they are spiritual were related to a query regarding their belief in a deity.

From the way your sentences were structured it looked like you were using personal experience as 'evidence' to back a generalization of everyone who calls themsevles spiritual.
Every time someone claim some sort of spirituality, then have me ask them what does that mean, I never get a clear answer.

Hell, I’ve never even gotten a clear defintion of a “God”.
If a God has to be omnipotent; then wouldn’t it be unfair to dismiss the many thousands of pagan Gods who are not omnipotent as not Gods? If a God doesn’t have to be omnipotent, then where do you draw the line, can Superman be called a God? Does it relate to supernatural powers at all or is it something else?

I was relating my experiences. That’s all. My initial post was not 100% serious, I’ll admit. I’m sorry if I didn’t explicitly state every subtlety of everything I said.

The first one, I admit, looked like you didn’t really give a shit, but the second one looked serious. If it looked like initial post was more of an attempt at humour I probably wouldn’t have bothered.

There’s evidence of a soul.
