Alright, this thread is for all those who are too slow (seed) to figure out, that quoting scripture does not prove scripture.
It was funny at first, quoting the fairy tales back at you, but now it’s just annoying.

if someone is saying “the bible is true cuz this verse here says its true”, then absolutely, your right.
but, if someone says that the bible is wrong because the entire time it is talking about talking marshmallows who are lighting the gramcracker people on fire, then it would be acceptable to use the bible to prove that that is NOT what it says, and that is in fact ridiculous.

gplex i think using the bible to prove the bible is like using science to prove science?
there isn’t much difference between religeon and science anyways, you spend your time learning it and end up dying for it.

We use evidence to prove science! There is a huge difference between science and religious faith..

but does it really matter though?
idc if someone is religeos or not, its best to just enjoy life before it ends, not trying to prove things that wont matter when your dead

If you don’t care go away. Don’t presume that I don’t care about something you don’t.

When you ask a question about the Bible which usually inadvertently leads to a discussion about Bibical consistency what else would you want us to use? The book of mormon?

I would hope that you would use the frontal lobe in your brain...Thats the one that controls cognitive rational thought...

I know what the frontal lobe is.
Proverbs 3:7
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil
Matthew 7:13
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Whenever I do things my own way, those verses always ring true.

I want to reitterate something you just stated and ask if this makes sense to you(or the rest of you for that matter)...you quoted matthew...
Matthew 7:13

To me it seems the “crooked gate” could be considered religion...Easy to enter and follow because it presupposes everything and has all the answers in a convienent book. The “strait gate” could be considered the doctrines of sciences and rational thought because the quest for knowledge is often frought with peril... I look at it this way, when it comes to religious people, science is where christianity was 1900 some odd years ago...Looked down upon and being ostracised for ones perspective.. Daniel being thrown to the lions or Gallelio being forced to renounce his theories and confined to his home...It’s all the same. Intolerance by means of heresy...
