You can turn most of the bible into something like this.

The whole sword thing is really great for showing the point to what I was going to say.
I have a problem with the whole bible. As a English Major, We recently spent a smester on life writing and looking at the bible, it is a colaborative piece of life writing. But just how accurate is it. How subjective were the writers. Its not written by Jesus himself, but merely a set of collaborators who wrote acounts on what they believe and life writing has shown us that memory is faulty and that authors are subjective in their accounts of what happened.
I seek to discredit the whole bible as fiction on the basis that there is no historical fact to support the writings conained within and that history itself is faulty as it is based on the scribings of people based on memorative accounts which can be faulty.

AgentTurtle you have a good observation. I didn’t even notice that(about the sword).
There are quite a few flaws in the Bible for me. Such as how did all the animals get to Noah’s ark, how did a wall crush 27,000 people, why did a man die because he refused to slap a son of a prophet, etc.

The Bible is hard to understand, well, for me.
Well actually I observed it and told him about it, I’m his brother.

That’s funny I live in Texas and if you want to buy a bible you have to get it in the fiction section at the bookstore.

Unless you take into account the fact that most of what Jesus said in the bible was parable and not to be taken literally. Or the fact that some of it was said pre-death and some after, a point in time which 'changed the rules'. But yeah, sure, all of this totally legit if you ignore that stuff.
