Many flaws in that video. Your supposed to substitute the blood and flesh with wine/grape juice and bread, not like you can find Jesus’s decaying corpse laying nearby. Also, you don’t need to be a disciple to go to heaven, you can’t actually be a disciple anymore since Jesus isn’t here. So a lot of those laws don’t belong there.

PS: I’m not Christian, but I’m just correcting the video.

Correcting what jesus said..how interesting...Anyone else see the inherent flaw in this arguement

I also contend that the writers of the NT took those things literally(with the exception of the flesh eating and blood drinking which was symbolic as the video explains). They believed that Jebus was going to return in their lifetime.

I have a problem with the whole bible. As a English Major, We recently spent a smester on life writing and looking at the bible, it is a colaborative piece of life writing. But just how accurate is it. How subjective were the writers. Its not written by Jesus himself, but merely a set of collaborators who wrote acounts on what they believe and life writing has shown us that memory is faulty and that authors are subjective in their accounts of what happened.

I seek to discredit the whole bible as fiction on the basis that there is no historical fact to support the writings conained within and that history itself is faulty as it is based on the scribings of people based on memorative accounts which can be faulty.

Ease up on the word “faulty” buddy, it’s not a renewable resource.

The King of MVC wrote: Unless you take into account the fact that most of what Jesus said in the bible was parable and not to be taken literally. Or the fact that some of it was said pre-death and some after, a point in time which 'changed the rules'. But yeah, sure, all of this totally legit if you ignore that stuff.

Another correction in Jebus' name...Changed the rules???...Jebus said himself that moses laws were binding...Also, think about what you have to “ignore”(as you put it) to believe the bamn bible...Like the fact you just said Jebus was talking AFTER his death...Talk about ignoring stuff...

I can’t remember all of them off the top off my head, I could just copy and paste but it’s easier to show how many other people also see flaws in the bible when they google the topic.

There is nothing after death. Near death experiences are tricks of the mind caused by the brain almost shutting down, where the part of the brain that deals with vision creates the illusion of tunnel vision and a bright centre of light. Similar sensations are experienced by pilots in flight simulators who black out from the extreme g-forces.

The idea that there is a secret invisible part of your body that survives your own death forever and still retains memory and it’s sensory perceptions is moronic.
