imagine ur living in the year, lets say 500 bc. ur a shepherd. someone comes up to u an offers u everlasting life and yes everlating youth too.
now u turn down his offer because u think living forever would be “boring”.
so u die an ur forgotten.
now 2500 years later...
...daym u missd a whole lot of shit. now i dont know about u but i dont think everything that happened in those years was boring.
now thas jus everlasting life/youth, what if u were offered “no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying...(no more) pain(Revelation 21:4)"?
Okay, but 3000 years isn’t exactly forever, is it?
Besides, life is boring without any problems or challenges. __________________ Join “The Zeitgeist Movement”

there are countless challenges when granted everlasting life. the longer u live the more u can know. its not easy finding new mathematical formulas, exercising to increase ur physique, farming, etc.

every year 1500 americans will have a NDE (Near Death Experience) and every time the experience is the same bright light, wieghtlessness, faces of family and friends, previous life experiences.

I don’t understand why people are so brainwashed that they only believe what is told to them. That’s what I don’t understand. hell I’d rather someone be so fucking stubborn that you want to kill them rather than someone simply agreeing what authority tells them. For gods sakes people have been blessed with a brain that gives them thoughts, reasoning, and understanding. And yet 90% of the world wishes to let all that rot a way and let the person with the biggest microphone tell them what to do and how to do it. That’s a fucking shame. That’s the only thing you should be confused and dissappointed in. Shame that we are blessed with reasoning and yet its wasted upon us. I leave you with this quote:
“They must find it difficult... Those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority." -Gerald Massey __________________

Actually, it has been pretty much proven that his explanation for near-death-experiences are true. Scientists have even used that information to simulate it

Think about it. Every move you do can indirectly make someone feel negative feelings, whether physical or mental. Let’s say you did something that made someone else jealous or mad. Would that be allowed in heaven? Let’s say there is a contest that you won and as a result the rest of the contestants had negative feelings because of that. Would that be allowed in heaven? When you observe your everyday life you will see that almost everything you do will result in something negative. In a place where you can do pretty much everything, especially with materialism, who is to say that jealousy or greed won’t exist? __________________ Join “The Zeitgeist Movement”

well, i dont see how that suggests everlasting life would be boring.
heaven is not the only place for everlasting life:
“the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it for ever."
-Psalm 37:29
now, the word righteous, what do u think it means? good people. why would these people, with everlasting life, be jealous over a simple contest?
u say everything i do will result in something negative. can u give me some examples?
its true that some things we do can bring negative results. there are also things we can do that would bring positive results, like a smile, helping ur parents/granparents, etc. __________________ “i aint the cat yall saw yesterday, at least i mean by tomorrow i wont be anyway. whole new ball game, whole new day..." — QUASIMOTO Joined: 07 Jul 2006 Posts: 15,447 OFFLINE ramunemattBanned Rep: 61 POW wrote:

in this world that is true. people are greedy, selfish, jealous, ignorant, evil.
but this world will be so much different compared to God’s promise of a new world.
our world is governed by humans.
the new world will be goverened by God. __________________ “i aint the cat yall saw yesterday, at least i mean by tomorrow i wont be anyway. whole new ball game, whole new day..." — QUASIMOTO |
