We are the only creatures on Earth who kill other animals (and ourselves) for pleasure, we start wars with eachother, we destroy our environment, and while other animals have a natural equilibrium with their environment, we (much like a virus) instead multiply and move from place to place until all resources are consumed then we move to another area.
Someone remind me again why Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. think we’re SO much better than animals
It’s not really exclusive to religions either. There are some pretty normal people out there who think they’re naturally better than animals, and they could be atheistic or something of the sort where their religious text doesn’t say anything on the matter.
Up here, there was a debate about putting down violent dogs, and the first thing I thought was “wait, we don’t have the death penalty because it’s inhumane and instead we rehabilitate criminals, but dogs are instantly tossed in front of a gun?"

man has something that animals don’t (NO, NOT THUMBS!) we have what’s called conscience, we can think animals have instinct, we know right from wrong, even though we dont necessary do the right thing, we also have intellect

yes they’re protecting there young, from the other ants attacking
whats the attacking ants purpose?
Their own hill isn’t big enough to hold their colony and the ants will die due to overcrowding and/or the ants need food to live and that food could be in the other hill.
