I mean sometimes i think WHAT IF ANOTHER RELIGION IS RIGHT thats would be terrible i would rather hope athiest are right then another religion. Another thing i realize is that everyone believes theres the same way i believe mine, which is like crazy considering how many religions there are and im only in 1 makes me doubt sometimes but i still think im right

What would cause you to stop believing in Christianity?

Yes, but you’re different because you actually have good reasons for assuming that...

The enormous taxes generated from the sale of tobacco and the fast food industry helps fund the healthcare system, though. At any rate, I’d rather pay a bit more taxes than have to live in a nation where the government can tell us what food we can and cannot eat.

Why does everyone bitch about taxes? It’s not that much of a pain in the ass to pay them.

Yes, that is true. I go by what the evidence shows me. Not by what I would like to happen(Which would not be Christianity anyways)

It’s interesting, God has this plan, so was his plan to have evil in the world and have people he “loves” go to hell?

You can’t believe God has a plan for you that you must follow and believe in free will at the same time.

Also it conflicts with prayer. How can god do stuff for you if it’s not planned? What’s the point of praying.

Yeah, Didn’t think about that one though. Good point.

It’s not about the govt. telling us what we should or shouldnt eat, it’s a matter of simple common sense...People, we put shit into our bodies and what do we expect to look like? And of course taxes arent all that bad. But just as our founding fathers stated " WE HAVE NO NEED TO PAY TAXES ON SUGAR AND TEA!!!" Your statement that is now bolded should explain exctly why the system is broken.

People like astro have a lot of emotional feeling link to their religion. For people like this, it usually takes a long time to slowly admit to themselves that their religion doesn’t make sense. Astro will never have anything change his mind, it will most likely be a long and sometimes uncomfortable process for him to admit to himself the truth.

It is impossible to generalize a linear relation between x and y to always be present in every situation. How would “knowing a super natural’s plan” even be slightly possible? Unless you are linking “gods plan” to death and then heaven. Still this is creativity and problem solving acting up..

Gods plan, much as my plan and your plan will always differ and we have different plans for everything.
