Simply because there are people who make millions of dollrs trying to prove he does. I don’t fleece the people out of their hard earned money for fear of the afterlife. I just present evidence(often citing the infallible word of god) and let people decide for themselves. If they state something erroneous I refute them. Simple enough. There are people who listen. Well, everyone needs to realize that that the bible was written by a man, not a god...some man in some cave is said to have written it or something. Did you know that man sins? In this case it’s obvious he could have written a lot of lies or maybe distorted it. We don’t know, and we probably won’t ever know, the universe is huge, you don’t know what’s out there, earth is just a tiny little planet. I believe people should believe what they see, what they think is right by logic and not what they WANT to believe. There can only be fact and fiction.
