how to make friends in school.

i dont know if this has been posted but im getting sleepy and i didnt feel like searching because im getting sleepy.so,how do you usually make new friends in school? im kinda nervous about making new friends in a totally new school where i dont know anyone and most eighth graders like me will know their friends from seventh grade.so ummm,advice please

Srsly, the best thing anybody can do is be themselves. Obviously this can cause both positive and negative reactions, but then you won’t be hiding anything from anyone as you would if you lie.

Being yourself will eventually lead you to your own social group and therefore end up making friends.

Don’t worry about it. Really. If you want to make friends, be your usual self and you’ll attract people who think you’re funny or agree with your opinions, etc and so forth. Don’t go around trying to please people or be a Yesman. It won’t work, and it’ll backfire.

Hang around with people you connect with until you seamlessly merge into their group. Instant-friends.
