I thought it was (x 4)^2 = (5x 2)(x-2) is what I got...

Are you sure those (x 4)'s don’t cancel?

Doesn’t make sense they would. If you have
(5x 2)/(x 4) = (x 4)/(x-2)
You’d need to multiply both sides by (x 4) and (x-2) to get rid of them on each side...
I think. o.o

Oh wait. I fucked up. There’s an = there not an * doh!

lol, yeah and I got some confusing thing like, 5 and -2 or something stupid...

I got 5 and -1 which both work if you plug them in.

r=-1 for x=-1 and r=3 for x=5

I just realized it’s asking for r so this is the answer, lol.

Yeah yet it isn’t any of the answers given. Just like that other one where we both got 4(10^1/2) I think...no that one was the wrong one...

It’s just missing a negative sign on the one. I stand by my answer, lol

Well we both got the same answer for 33, which was apparently wrong...(you got 4(10^1/2) no?)

And, I don’t know what I messed up on 26, cause the answer is A so I’m only 60 off...

(b) 13655
