Please, Algebra 2

I’m really really stuck and i dont know how to do my homework. we are doing linear equations. finding the x-intercept and y-intercept forms. i forgot how to do em.

i know that for y-int. you do it like this:
y=3x-4.
y=3(0)-4
y=-4

now how do you find the x-int. please i really cant do my homework cuz i’m stuck

0=3x-4
Solve for X.

In more words less numbers, change Y to zero instead of X.

Multiply each side by -1.

add 1 to both sides

Well, f stands for the function itself; f(x), which is equal to -1/2x-1.
