Let me rephrase.
I can kill someone with a katana effectively, quickly, and the right way.
I took Shinkendo for a pretty good while. Samurai arts ftw.
And Shinkendo > Kendo. No sissy armor for us! 8D
The way we learned it, we had to learn how to block the right way or risk getting hit by a really hard piece of wood.
A lot of fights happen at my school. A couple of months ago two girls got into a fight and one of them delivered a slap so loud everyone in the cafeteria heard it. There was only one person I ever really wanted to fight, because he went far beyond the point where calling him a jackass would be an understatement. Someone else ended up choking him out, and the funny thing is I don’t ever really know who the jerk was, just what he was causing. Fights are nothing new and I’m not for or against them.
Most fights seem to be done by those that care too much about their reputation. I think they’re actually more for show than anything, but heavily driven by hate.
I mean, strength is good and all, but I think it can be better applied and respected toward more practical things than pounding the bitch that just stepped on your new shoes.

I don’t think it was unnecessary as sitting down and taklking about things rationally is always the preferable option.
never really works out just talking bout it. makes it worse.
Thats because they don’t look at the situation objectively and with rationality.
Rather they talk to each other with anger in their hearts and violence on their minds.
their judgment and logic is clouded and broken.
To think how man wars could have been adverted if the two conflicting parties took a more reflective and dis attached view of the situation.
Much the same reason why I like Buddhism as a belief system. It teaches you to reach for rationality and perspective rather than emotions and anger.
...Are you a preacher?
hardly, just a guy who in the past had a great many anger problems and did some really bad shit because of a lack of clarity.
having obtained a newfound look on life I speak from experiance and do so without any alternative motive but to offer a point of view based on my experiance.

Fighting is primal son it’s needed to protect and to show dominence, School is no different than a pack of dog’s each fighting for dominence.

Shinkendo was after the fuedel era, kendo was before, kendo needs strong armor due to the inability to defend while attacking, i use an odd strategy, it is not kendo nor shinkendo, kinda a mix
