This is not Samus vs Kratos. This is Dark Samus vs. Kratos. Dark Samus has a resurrection ability superior to that of Kratos. It/she can come back from particles. You need to atomize her to do damage.

If Kratos comes back, Dark Samus will send him back to the underworld corrupted by phazon. Great job, Dark Samus just took over hell.
