We might make a fraction of a degree difference which really doesn’t matter. It’s a George Carlin says the Earth goes through constant cycles and natural disasters. Volcano eruptions are much more likely to cause Global Warming than humans. Nuclear War is scary though.
There is plenty of evidence for global warming; rising temperatures, melting ice caps, increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, certain plants growing in places where they’ve never done before due to the climate not being cold enough. Man Made CO2 emissions release more than 150 times the amount released by volcanoes each year. I can’t believe people are buying into the bullshit put out by free marketers and petrol companies.

It looks like their doing what Hitler did right before WW2, testing their boundaries to see how far they can yet at the same time not do too much so they can buy time. This might not be the case but I think North Korea is much more likely to start war with us than Russia.
North Korea isn’t even at a Cold War or arms race with America at this point in time. The world has gotten so much more paranoid in the 21st century. Sure, North Korea has a very small amount of nukes at this point in time, but with so many countries pointing their missiles at them and telling them to calm down or watch out (even CHINA has warned them) they won’t be doing anything, and if they do, it will be minimal and it will result in their complete annihilation.
EB V3 wrote: If were gonna fight them I’d prefer we do it before they have a missile system with Nukes that can reach us. Nukes are scary, even the weakest nukes ever detonated caused mass destruction to a city that still has radiation problems to this day. And the atomic bomb is like a paper cut compared to what other nukes can do.
You would kill 20 million people in North Korea and risk the lives of many others in other countries just because of an unsupported hunch you have that North Korea might nuke another country? I hope you never get into politics.
EB V3 wrote: Does anyone here honestly want to risk this? Fat Man is like an ant compared to the nukes of today.
It’s not much of a risk, really. They don’t have much, it’s unlikely they’ll do anything and everyone else would destroy them.
EB V3 wrote: And even if Korea doesn’t directly attack us what if they hand over Nukes to the religious nut-jobs? Now I’m not anti-religious at all but the Muslim Extremist are insane and would use the nukes without a second thought.
You know what else can be just as dangerous as political and religious dogma? Paranoia.
Please people talking about Global Warming don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. It’s all so called environmentalist with ulterior motives(coughpeoplelikeAlGorecough). Hell now there is even talk of another Ice Age. Make up your damn minds it changes like every 20 years. It’s like having a doomsday theory every six years. Global Warming is media control really. Secondly never did I say we should Nuke Korea, I said we should stop them and not just slap them on the wrist like every did with Hitler before oh I don’t know he started WWII. And yeah when North Korea has directly threatened us with Nukes I see that as a reason to be paranoid. Even if we don’t have an all out Nuclear War, what happens if North Korea drops a nuke in a populated city? Or what if North Korea drops a nuke too close to one of our nukes? They have directly threatened us. North Korea is liable to test their boundaries until they get nukes and a launch system powerful enough to seriously threaten us. Hitler did the same thing with Germany basically, he built Germany’s army from next to nothing within a few years and then broke rules from the Treaty of Versailles and even invaded another country while the rest of the world basically twiddled their thumbs until he invaded Poland and France. I bet North Korea is doing a similar kind of thing.
