yeah, that requires A LOT of strength conditioning.
Bodybuilding workouts aint gonna help you, not even in the third stage.
You will need good core stability, balance and you should do a lot of high repetition calisthenics
which supports practical strength to pass the obstacles in that stage.

Man I doubt that...

I fuck around at Corona gymnastics cause my chick coaches there. And Some of the bars and swings those guys do are hell hard. I Have 14.5 inch forearms and very good grip and I know I couldn’t even pass stage two for this event.

And no offense but you don’t look like you have the equipment to complete even stage one. Especially cause you are a smoker.

Yeah, you need an urban area.
I never tried anything like that before
Here is a scene from District B13(you guys need to watch this movie, it’s awesome)

Did that 3% bodyfat guy compete last time?
The cliffhanger is a bitchy looking obstacle, lots of grip strength there.

Also, does anyone here think they can do well if they tried out for Ninja Warrior? To be honest, I definitely can’t do shit with those messed up new courses. The old one seemed possible for anyone with explosive strength, functionality, balance and speed.

That guy in the video I think is the first person to win it. (and the only person I think)

No, he only made it as far as the third stage I think. Only Nagano and some other guy from Ninja Warrior’s earlier courses won it. So it was only completed twice

Oh, I was thinking of another fireman, he won it before, but never did really good the other times.

Rosputin wrote: It looks simple enough on television, but when you are there, it’s a whole other story. I know for a fact you have to completely stop bodybuilding training just to make it halfway through the first stage, you have to train specifically for Ninja Warrior. In my opinion, only free-running practitioners have a chance to complete it now. Even Nagano failed early on in the new course.

Nagano failed early? Damn.
