But it’s more then just following the theme of the thread.
Skully’s right in that (at least I thought) it was for more serious talk (or at the very least focused).
I liked the on-topic section because it was easier to find the topics I was discussing with someone without it getting lost in the trash.
Not that those topics are around much anymore...meh, even less then before that section was created.

And and I don’t think its made much difference in types of topics in off-topic...at least not from what I’ve seen.

Ah well, doesn’t matter.
If I have something to discuss I’ll just put it in politics.

I have my own idea of what “On-Topic” should be, but I realize that might not be shared with other members
I’m not sure how it was ever supposed to be desided what was concidered on-topic vs off topic.

The reason I loved the planets thread to off topic is because it was talking about DBZ stuff.

The on-topic section really does seem to have a lot of “off-topic” type threads right now.

It used to be more serious interesting topics...now we’ve got “bra size”, “peeps online”, “wheres my nipple”, flame topic for chillyman and the like

all those topics about naruto and dbz, they belong in either lit or television, depending on weather you are talking about the anime or manga..
