He would have to move up to lightweight, other than that, he would do very, very well. He is well conditioned, strong, quick and has a few years on a lot of UFC lightweights. In my opinion, a lot of WEC lighter weight fighters are more impressive than UFC fighters.

I think he is on a contract. That’s usually the deal with the big organizations, he is most likely unable to switch unless he completes X amount of fights.

I think Urijah would do well but he would need to train harder because he will be in bigger fights

I strongly disagree, Faber is one of the top featherweights in the world. And the UFC doesn’t have any of the top lightweights. I can only name a few, BJ Penn? Kenny Florian? Sean Sherk? Frankie Edgar? Any other? none other really... I am not impressed with a lot of UFC fighters.

ya i mean dont get me wrong im a big Faber fan i was just saying that he might not fight like himself because UFC is bigger then WEC and with a bigger crowd watching him it might put more pressure on him to win

UFC owns WEC

WEC is 125, 135, 145 and 155 pound divisions whereas UFC starts at 155 {146 to 155 technically}

I can’t see Dana bringing Faber over unless he wants to fight above 155, better to keep him contracted there {WEC} unless the UFC 155 stable loses great fighters.

Yeah. I haven’t seen him fight at a heavier weight, but i know on fight night, after weigh ins, he manage to put on quite a bit of weight. So I am not really one to judge, if he had to fight at 155, he will have to be close to 155 on fight night, that is if he has problems fighting at such a heavy weight. I still think featherweight is best division for him
