I dont think he played college football,thought he just wrestled. I know he had quite a good amateur wrestling record. An he had a tryout with the vikings , didnt make the cut in the end so thats a moot point. Are you sure hes done boxing?Where did you get that from. It sure doesnt look like it in his fights.

In college at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, he won numerous accolades, including being a two-time National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I champion.After graduating, he won the 1995 World Championship tournament.Angle then competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he won a gold medal in heavyweight freestyle wrestling.

So your assumption of Angle is wrong , if anything hes far more qualified then Lesnar .
