I was just watching it a while ago. How do you guys think the American Ninja Challengers are going to do? It’s been like a year or so since I watched it, i am not up to date with the previous competition.
Did that 3% bodyfat guy compete last time?
The cliffhanger is a bitchy looking obstacle, lots of grip strength there.
Also, does anyone here think they can do well if they tried out for Ninja Warrior? To be honest, I definitely can’t do shit with those messed up new courses. The old one seemed possible for anyone with explosive strength, functionality, balance and speed.

Freerunners are crazy, I think it would really take a professional freerunner practitioner to do well in the new Ninja Warrior course. Because this guy has only managed to make it as far as the third stage. And in the previous one the second stage.

i could prolly do ninja warrior i used to rock climb for like 4 years so i got the grip strength i just dont know how to sign up for it i know they film it in orlando fla
It looks simple enough on television, but when you are there, it’s a whole other story. I know for a fact you have to completely stop bodybuilding training just to make it halfway through the first stage, you have to train specifically for Ninja Warrior. In my opinion, only free-running practitioners have a chance to complete it now. Even Nagano failed early on in the new course.

That guy in the video I think is the first person to win it. (and the only person I think)

No, he only made it as far as the third stage I think. Only Nagano and some other guy from Ninja Warrior’s earlier courses won it. So it was only completed twice

Oh, I was thinking of another fireman, he won it before, but never did really good the other times.
Freerunning is fucking amazing. I used to do it, although I was never anywhere NEAR as good as someone like Levi. I’m not as good as I used to be either since I don’t have anyplace to do it anymore.

Man I doubt that...
I fuck around at Corona gymnastics cause my chick coaches there. And Some of the bars and swings those guys do are hell hard. I Have 14.5 inch forearms and very good grip and I know I couldn’t even pass stage two for this event.
And no offense but you don’t look like you have the equipment to complete even stage one. Especially cause you are a smoker.
yeah, that requires A LOT of strength conditioning.
Bodybuilding workouts aint gonna help you, not even in the third stage.
You will need good core stability, balance and you should do a lot of high repetition calisthenics
which supports practical strength to pass the obstacles in that stage.
