Hm.. And why do you need ziis?

Take a picture of your shoulders, I will help you out with what you need.

Is it for a sport? Do you want them to get fuller? You want larger shoulders?

I need more information if you want accurate and correct results.

Do you want to increase the width of them? That is more back work then anything.

I would encourage you to do wide grip pull ups to increase your back (which will get your back wider and the length between your neck and the edge of your shoulder will be increased drastically.

I do something similar, but I do wide grip upright rows instead of shrugs.
If you want more power, do military press, and upright rows or power cleans.

He doesn’t look like someone who could do a pull ups... he might want to start on the lat pull down instead.

Edit: is there any update on raep arm.

Hm, I am assuming he doesn’t have a gym membership or access to a gym currently.

Build up your pullups, once you can hit 10 or 15 correctly without swinging movement.. consider getting a gym membership. If that is not a possibility then keep doing and finding workouts that you can incorporate in your schedule without using money (i.e pushups, situps, pull ups, dips etc..).

Good luck man, keep me informed.

If you can get to a gym and are really intrested in elevating your physique, hit me up with that info chief.

Pull ups. Ssssss. I train with a lot of people, and they way I got them to increase their pull-ups is either getting something for them to stand on so they can do assisted pull-ups (assisted with their own legs), or the lat machine. Personally I never like pull-ups, because my weight has a tendency to fluctuate by as much as 10 pounds. One week it would be extremely easy, and the next Ill find it harder. Doing your own weight on the lat pull down is actually harder (I have found), I think it is because when you are doing pull-ups, you are not actually lifting a large part of your arm weight.
Viiz is right you should try and go to the gym. But if you can make it there you can always try something like this.

^ Lat pull downs are awesome but pull ups are still the king of back exercises.

If you want to get a wider back then do pull ups.. the wider your grip on the pull ups = the wider your back will grow.

I love Lat-pull downs but they are not as effective because they are not free weights.

Bench pressing with a bench and a barbell will always beat a smith machine.

HOWEVER.

If you are not capable of doing 10 pull ups then building your back up on machines is the way to go. You can’t really assist someone correctly on pull-ups you either help them too much or not enough.

Lat pull downs are good because you can alter the weight for your sets like;

1st set : 225 pounds
2nd set : 240 pounds
3rd set : 200 pounds
4th set : 185 pounds

While pull ups are:

x amount of weight.. unless you do weighted pull ups. But you are not at that fitness level yet.

I just got a gym membership at Life Time Fitness
Today I worked on shoulders and ma back.
My shoulders are tired but is it normal if your back doesn’t hurt after you have done the exercises?

Your back will hurt later on today and feel muscle soreness tomorrow. Be sure to get lots of protein.

Oh, if this doesnt help you with your shoulders, nothing will.

Also, eat enough complex carbs about an hour before you workouts, drink a lot of water throughout the day and never over-train.

From the picture he posted.. getting delts will only make his shoulders look smaller, not larger.

He should not do isolation work until he gets a foundation to work on from compound exercises.

You don’t need to buy protein powder .. just eat lots of meats and veggies.
