his shikai he can move around invisibly because of the light, make reflections of himself anywhere he wants to throw them off.

Well I’d have to disagree. Hao survived light.
Also, on namek Piccolo was barely seeing light, but Vegeta saw all of Frieza’s attacks and could react to them. So it’s plausable how fast they react is light speed, depending on how you interpret the wording.
