rapping is basically just rhymes and poems

there isn’t any talent needed to write a simple poem or a simple rhyme, so why do rappers make such a big deal when talented music artists painfully point out to them that rapping is basically just a simple RHYME/POEM? didin’t we all learn poems and rhymes when we started SCHOOL? wasn’t we singing hymns at an early age? rap DOESN’T take much talent, NOT when we learn to sing hymns and read nursery RHYMES at SCHOOL. the only thing about rap, is you need to throw in a few sexual remarks, and the odd few aggressive remarks. BANG BANG, SLUT HOE, IM GONNA FUCK YA THEN EAT YA. rap is CRAP and it dont take much effort, and takes very little TALENT to produce. IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE, then just read a few lyrics to even the most well liked RAP CRAP and you will SEE that it’s just a HYPED up POEM/RHYME sang to a techno beat.

The sort of “stereotypical” rap (the ones that, like you said, talk about hoes and whatnot) is pretty talentless. Some rock does a bit of this too in different ways.
Pretty sure that it’s common knowledge that not all rap is like that.
