The Hiroshima bomb emitted over 10,000 degrees F when it went off. The Tsar bomba, emitted 4,000 times that energy. thats hotter then the sun when it goes off, correct? So, how much would you say Broly’s basic energy ball emits? The energy ball size of a fist when he used it to destroy the planet? I’ll tell you. Probably in the billions. Though a few million degrees would do just fine, you would melt a huge hole through the mainly iron earth. However, the beam seemed to be more force and less heat, like a particle beam instead of a laser. You know like the death star’s beam? Because with the energy of the death star’s beam, had it beam a normal laser, aldebran would just have a huge hole in it, well huge to humans, the hole would be of no consequence to the planet, however a particle beam probably would have come closer to what the death star did to the poor planet.

13 billion tons of Tnt would barely dent the surface of the earth. The earth has withstood an impact from a mars sized proto planet that released the equivalent of over 20 million billion megatons of tnt. or 20 million million billion tons of tnt, this created the moon, after vaporizing a good chunk of the earth and gave us a atmosphere of rock, metal, and water vapor for thousands of years, oh and we got a planetary ring system which pounded us even further, that is after the debris that immediately fell back down to earth screwed us to hell. It’s also why our oceans aren’t 60 km deep.

And people tend to exaggerate the fragility of the earth, even though the earth is a very very very very very large 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ton or so ball of iron that’s been here for 4,600,000,000 years.
