I have a Gamecube. I only have three games. Whenever I find something on the Gamecube I would like to buy, I find something better on the Xbox. I haven’t heard people rant about how awesome Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is, but I have heard people yelling about Halo 2. Nintendo needs to be more open, more games that are violent, more FPS. More James Bond style games. Less Mario. There is a reason that Nintendo countered Bungie’s viral marketing plan. This plan started in around 1998 or earlier, maybe later, probably earlier. But why is Nintendo so concerned? Here’s why: Because Halo 2 outsold Metroid Prime 2 (and most other games) in one day ($51 million). I doubt that Metroid Prime2 has cought up yet. Why should Nintendo care about one small company? Nintendo must be having doubts about their success for this to take place.

Ok since when would nintendo care about what bungie was doing? In case you did not know all gaming companies keep their games secert until they are announced, not only nintendo. Further more it is true that Halo is a more popluar game but Metroid Prime 2 is almost with it. You can’t go making assumptions by just what you herad, you need facts to back up what you have to show that it is true. Also in case you were wondering check out gamerankings.com for the best games of all time Geuss what is No.1 Halo 2? dead wrong that is 11, the first Halo is 8, Metroid Prime seems to be higher here at the number 4 spot, and the game on the top of the list is Legend of Zelda OOT. Also you are another person who thinks Nintendo has the Kiddy image, look it is not all Mario, and all games cannot be just first person shooters cause then the gaming industry would lose more money. Nintendo has pently of its own M titles, like RE4, Timesplitters: Future Perfect, Metal Gear Solid the twin snakes, Etrnal Darkness, Bloodranye, RE0, RE1, RE2, RE3, RE code veronica, and there are still a good amoun of M games. But still ratings do not make a good game, what matters is gameplay. Why do you think Zelda is still the best game series today? Just because it is rated E or T makes no difference. People like Zelda for its unmatched gameplay. You seem to be saying that if nintendo got more M games then they would be more popular. What you think they should make a game were Mario goes on a killing spree? That would not work at all. Ratings have nothing to do with earning a company money. The ratings are only for telling people if they are old enough to play the games. In truth ratings are nothing it is just gameplay, that is why Zelda still sits at the top and why so many people buy Halo and Metroid Prime.

Why do they not distribute most Japanize games in America? (Because to them, Americans are purely a source of money. They don’t give a shit if the games out in japan are cool and ours suck. But yet Sony and microsoft do a good job and gettting most/ all their games around the world. Nintendo is to lazy to hire a fucking translator to translate their games, mainly cuz they just don’t give a crap. I would cost them a few hundred to a few thousnad to hire and implement a translator, and they’d make millions doing that, they just don’t care.
