That makes no sense. There are probably more games that are Japanese only on the PS and PS2 that were never released in America. Fire Emblem is one of the few Nintendo franchises that were kept from us for so long. Shoot, your godly Square Enix has a bunch of Japanese-only games. Rat on them. As for Microsoft, they don’t get a lot of Japanese games. BTW, have you seen most of the Japanese-only games? Some are porn (one reason) and most are so lame. They had about a 5$ budget to work with, and made a 5 cent game.

I can still like Nintendo and still be able to discuss the console wars with other supporters of other companies. There is no one on these forums that isn’t a fanboy of some company but there is 2 categories. An open minded arguer and the blind fool. If we had more people who were just willing ot hear the other side and respect it people would get along a lot better in here.

i kinda see it the same way. it’s just that, without the “advanced” hardware in the Wii, it’s only relying on it’s new form of gameplay. which is not bad i might add, but still, eventually, software will get ahead of the Wii’s pontential. leaving itself without ports from the 360 or PS3. thus, leaving itself again to rely on first party games, making Mario a literal hero... i think i went too far...

I see Nintendo’s weak hardware/innovative controller approach as a bittersweet one. But if they loose 3rd party support from multiplatforms due to the hardware limitations... expect to see the GameCube scenario repeat itself with the Wii.
