As a matter of opinion anyways, I don’t really like ANY modern music, but that is just me, but as for the person who said they’re more skilled than Hendrix, you can suck my 'nads. Because I don’t see any Slipknot songs in the top ONE THOUSAND song/guitar solos list. But there is 40-50 Hendrix songs in there, and MEtallica for that matter, and AC/DC, that is my kind of music. Now Flame away, you self crowned defenders of Slipknot, I couldn’t give less of a shit what you can say, but anyone who isn’t tone deaf can tell that Slipknot’s guitars are unexperienced, and the riffs are random, repetitive, and sometiems even slow. their “first” album: Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. (1996) is very interesting, have the look of random style-changing
their really first album: Slipknot (1999) is very impressive, lot of good songs (my fav: Wait And Bleed)
creepy mask wearing = identification hiding (i think this was a good idea from one of them)
