It’s actually an autobiography of Billie Joe Armstrong, at least the song “Jesus of Suburbia” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends." Billie Joe did lose his father in September and it crushed him forever. And you must be a TOTAL idiot if you can’t hear the story right in there! No one informed me that this was a rock opera, because I could hear it. It’s a deep, emotional rollercoaster pretty much about Billie Joe’s life.
