TAU CANNON/GAUSS GUN:
an experimental weapon from half-life. uses radioactive stuff as ammo. it has 2 modes of fire.
primary fire: rapid firing beams, instant hit, perfect accuracy, consumes 2 units of ammo per shot, not very powerful.
secondary fire: charge beam, consumes up to 10 units of ammo, also perfect accuracy. a direct hit can do devestating damage. It can go through walls, the thickness of the wall it can pierce is directly proportional to the amouth it has been charged. When it beam exits the wall it does up to 200 points of area damage. When combined with a direct hit through the wall, a fully charged blats can do up to 1200 points of damage.
also when a charged shot is fired at the ground, it can propell you into the air, making it a very useful “vehicle” if utilized correctly.
