ok let just emagen a world where we ( yes even though i am a Weasel I still conceder my self an American!) lost the war for separation and the brits still owned America.
Differences:
1. I would be dead.
2. WW2 would have been lost and you would ether be speaking German or a lampshade.

If Britain still owned America at the time of WW2, the war would have been over much quicker as it took 2 years and a bombing on your own land to get ya moving.
Oh, and what about all the nazi sympathy in the U.S at the time, or dont they teach you about that?
The only reason America faught against the Nazi’s was because they were allied to the Japanese antagonists of Pearl harbour.
ANYTHING France, Germany, or Russia say should be just plain IGNORED. They made BILLIONS of $$$ hurting the Iraqi people. The UN ? Same thing. I ask you. Exactly how much are we, the USA, making ? I, personally, think we should get something for freeing the Iraqi people and putting down Saddam, but I suppose most of the oil money will be spent rebuilding Iraq. I can live with that ! What I will not live with is PIGS that steal the food from little children so they can afford an extra vacation house in the Black Forest.

On the point of USA arrogance. Yes, you are right. We need to work on that. But really, we have a system that works. Should we agree to a system that doesn’t, just to make others happy ? Do you have a system that works better ? The communist system is bankrupt. Socialism is going bankrupt. Capitalism works better then any other system yet devised. Could it work better ? YES , but so far I’ve not seen any European system that works better. I hear lots of talk, but I don’t see any action. Is it USA arrogance or a case of European “Won’t lead, to proud to follow” ? I never said they were cool with the native americans the natives were slaughtered by the “americans” (although most of them had come from europe) but now we realize it was a horrible thing to do.
