hey everyone! im really curious 2 see who will win the nex gen wars. so i started this forum 2 get ur opinion. Come here and tell who you think will outsell who in the us, worldwide etc.
and PLEASE, DONT BASE UR COMMENTS ON WHICH COMPANY U LIKE BEST! for example: u are an xbox 36 fan and u really know that PS3 will outsell xbox 360, but dont admit it and say that xbox 360 will outsell PS3. In other words, NO BIASED OPINOINS! and xbox fans, dont get pissed, this is just an example.
My predictions are as follows: the US market is neck-and-neck in the coming generation, either console could establish a slight lead. There’ll be a healthy lead for the PS3 in Europe, and an overwhelming lead for the PS3 in Japan. The Xbox 360 software portfolio will tip Microsoft’s Home and Entertainment division into profitability, but the profits will not be lucrative. Nintendo finally gives up on consoles, and focuses on their software portfolio and the battle to hang onto the portable market.
I really think Xbox 360 will outsell the PS3 not by much though. Nintendo will come out make some hype for a week and die because it can’t keep up with Xbox 360 or PS3.

Overall PS3 will do the best, and the Revolutions will probably be second, cause ya know after Halo fanboys by the 360, not much of anyone else will get it, their sales will go down dramatically system wise when the PS3 and Rev. are only starting to sell, BELIEVE IT.
i think that the ps3 will win by a landslide, but not as much as they did in this gen. i think that the rev. will come in secont becouse it will bring alot of new gamers in and is a rely cheap price. i say it will bring alot of gamers in becouse i have seen how hard it is for people to adjust to a controler. i have tried playing a game as simple as mario party with my dad and it took him along time to get used to the buttons. i also have a cousin who has had almost no contact with video games (i have fixed this problem...). when i first introduced her to game, it was very hard for her. it takes a long time to get used to remembering which buttons are which. the rev. eliminates this problem. it has very few buttons to remember. i think the 360 will come in last becouse i think that these reports of overheating and freezing and all that will scare people away. and, which would you rather buy: a $100 system or a $400 system + an hd tv. not many people have one, and for it to have any graphical advantage over the rev., it will have to be on one. this is just my opinion and thoughts on this next gen. if you respond with biast comments, so will i.

well i think due to sony’s huge fanbase they should win this next gen war, for second, i think it all depends on what nintendo brings to the table, given that we dont know too much about the rev, other than recent reports that it will be heavilly underpowered, it’s hard to say, but nintendo do keep saying they have something else instore for us and depending on what that actually is will most likely determine where nintendo finish up. now i do believe nintendo have something special up their sleeve because if nintendo are not investing money for all this power in their console, then what are they spending their money on? it remains to be seen but i think it will be great and as for the 360, well i just dont think that as many people are buying into the 360 hype as microsoft would have wanted.
Personally I believe it somewhat like this after seeing how much through history how the revo controller will change gaming and make it a sensation. So now I’m seeing it like this:
1. Nintendo
2. Sony
3. MS
Sony and MS being very close. If Nintendo is a big hit it will hit first in an instant and stay there and that is how I see it. Yet if it not a hit with the controller then I expect it tied with MS.
i talked to all of the students in my university about this. here were there replys. >>>> Student #1= I think that the nintendo rev will win because it has good set of games lined up for it. also since of the low price many parents will agree to buying it for there kids. And he said that he thinks xbox will come second due to halo 3 only. halo 3 is there Top Nuclrer bomb in this battle. ( I have to agree) >>>>>>>>>student#2 I think that the Xbox 360 will win because of smash hits like shaznizle 400 (WTF?) then he said jk. no he thinks it will win beucause of perfect dark. call of duty 2 and Halo 3. He also says hes looking forward to putting family slidewshows on there and free xbox live... and finnaly the last student #3 I think that the Rev will win because of the controller. I think that, that will be the next step in the revoluton of the entertainment world.
