coopgang Guest | Now everyone please bear with me as I have very little technical knowledge about PCs. I know the bare minimum. Here are some of my specs
VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP (supposedly 64 mb)
Turbo 3400+x comb feat. vig4 sempron 2200+ (I guess it’s an AMD processor)
1.49 GHZ, 448 MB RAM
Is my computer good enough to run Grand Theft Auto Vice City? I have it, but apart from just driving or walking around, it runs very slow, especially in shootouts. My question is this: Is it my video card that I need to upgrade? Or is there some settings I can change to get my game to run better? Also, I’m probably getting San Andreas for Christmas. So what kind of video card should I get to run the latest games without so much slowdown. I love PCs for the ability to mod, but this game runs so much slower than my PS2 that it isn’t worth it at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are only running an AMD equivilant to a Pentium 4 2.2 GHZ. That is good but not great. Your graphics card is really, really old, so I suggest on dishing out 100 dollars on a new one. Your harddrive should be large as well, and I’m not sure, but the PS2 won’t have any of the features that the game does (i.e- music, video streaming while playing)
