my friend Yuri, is palnning to launch a virus to disable this site, and force you all put him as its head!
He is planning to launch a virus called Omega Strike the day after tommorow....you have 2 days to stop him.
I know we don’t stnd on good terms with each other, I am somewhat unlawful, but thsi is something even I wouldn’t wish on this site.
Here is the proof of this titanic threat- it is a chat that i copied and recorded of a chat room session between myself and Yuri:

Moderators, I requested Tyreaus Rhade to recieve this evidence from myself and transfer it to you, but I have only just now found out that Yuri will launch Omega Strike in 2 days!
We must stop him!
Kane and myself posses an over ride code for the virus, its “Red Castle” no quotation. first letters capitalized. Spread this code around so that if we cannot prevent Yuri from launching, people can at least de-activate the virus on thier terminal when it is launched (this virus affects all the users, members or not, who are present on the forum when it is activated)
Please prevent this crisis, I have seen and heard what this virus can do, we must not allow Yuri to have his way. Or all will be lost.

I know what I tried to do in the past, but those days are over, Yuri couldn’t promise me enough to have me betray all who come here.

well i already see 2 problems with this:
1: what the hell was yuri thinking when u recorded the conversation?
id think he wouldve been smart enough just in case you decided to betray him so he wouldve gone somewhere else that you cant re-read what he said.
2. if you didnt want to do this WHY THE FUCKING HELL ARE YOU DOING IT?!
3. why dont u just ask for the code from kane and stop it?
and why dont u just go next door and kick his ass? (if it comes to that)

Okay... I don’t buy any of this, but there is always a possibility of hacking and sending a virus into this site. If you are telling the truth, then you know “Yuri” and tell him that if he does, there are multiple ways to track a virus back to its host. Hacking can get up to 30 days to 20 years in prison, but I’ll expect roughly 30-45 days for a small virus.

I think that you will be pleased to know that Yuri is no longer a threat.

Actually, Yuri was out yesterday and I convinced his tutor to let me into his room (I said Yuri had borrowed one of my cd’s. And they say lying is wrong), and I simply found the 2 disks (The fool labels them) that contained the virus, and took them.
And so, you can only imagine Yuri’s rage upon finding them missing, thats why it’s taken me so long to post again, he sent me one of his lesser viruses and tried to bribe me into submission, but he underestimates the power of my anti virus software (I have Zone Alarm Pro).
And so now I come to the final discision:
Use this virus to at long last conquer this forum. Or do the *sneers* right thing, and destroy them.....what to do what to do....

the only reason I helped is because when I thought about it, I asked myself “Who the hell else is gonna do anything???". The answer of course was- No one!
So, I saved the day, stopped Yuri (at least for now, to redo Omega Strike, he’d have to start over from scratch, and it took him a year and a half to construct).

I have a 1v1 match against Kane on Red Alert 2 in 30 minutes, I’d best get warmed up...
in order for a virus to erase a website it would have to find the server that the site is on,
123.456.7.890
then it would have to go through the millions of access codes just to access the server.
then he would have to overide and dissable the auto back-up.
then he would have to find the code of the site, which is completely random.
then he would have to go through another 32-bit access code just to access the site.
then the site might have 16-bit access codes just to get to every “sub-site” that belongs to that site.
then he would have to find the code that allows changes to that site.
then the so-called “virus” would have to automatically make changes to the site using the site’s site-builder.
then the virus would have to find the access code for the “publish site” button.
im not sure if u have the necessary cranial capacity to understand this, but yuri wasnt born yesterday, he knows a hell lot o stuff bout computers, programs, and viruses. hed program circles around u.
second, he made omega strike himself, do the words self created mean jack to u? probably not.
third, ure wrong about every reason u posted, except for #5, and Alexi stole BOTH of the discs, (u dont think yuri wouldnt make a backup, did u?)
and fourth, if ure gonna get mad at someone, get mad at the crackpot who came up with ure name.

i think this was a no shit threat, i called yuri the other day, and he said alexi stole a virus from him, he wasnt specific, but i asked him if was planning a strike, and he dodged my question like the plague.
i think theres more here that it appears.
but im not saying it wasnt fake either, im undecided, alexi may be a jerk, but hes more for conquering something honorably (most of the time) rather than destroying it. like this site, and he and yuri were close friends, dont forget, they were both responsible for impersonating me and almost crushing my rep. so if they didnt double cross each other on that bargain, i think yuri would trust alexi with this.
after all, alexi only had a minor role, to prevent me from deactivating the virus, alegedly....
perhaps in the future, we will be able to perform a more thouro investigation...
but for now, i think we should be glad yuri didnt succeed.
