Agni Guest | Batman is funny. He has awesome hi-tech gadgets, but he still can’t fly? Iron Man is more logical. If we have so much money to fund super duper hi-tech gadgets, I think we prefer machine that enable us to fly and invulnerable. Stupid Batman. I think his suit even can’t block bullets. If it can, why Batman doesn’t just stand with chin up while Joker’s men firing guns at him, instead of doing stupid jumping, dodging, punching and kicking moves.
I guess Ryu can give stupid Bruce huge energy blast, makes Dark Knight comes into pieces, along with all his stupid gadgets.

HowDoYouLikeThemApples1 Guest | Hmm think about what you say Agni. Batman is one of the only heros who has proven to be able to kill superman. In the darknight returns he has a huge mechsuit which pratically pummels superman to near death. He also kicked the shit out of the mutant leader who was superhuman in a bare knuckle brawl. This is when he was in his 50s. So Batman not only could kill Ryu but also use his face and hair to mop up the blood once he unloads a massive ass crushing to him.

He always finds some ingenious way to defeat his opponent, and is willing to go to any lengths (often using underhanded things) to defeat his opponent. Most of the hero’s batman has battled, agree to not using there powers before the fight with him, so he tends to have the advantage due to his gadgets and his intelligence. He also is not above exploiting an enemy’s weakness to further the odds in his favor (and example being his frequent use of kryptonite against superman.)

Onslaught is also a massive bad guy with awesome powers, and Ryu can take him down. The point is Ryu’s isn’t so invulnerable, but it’s his attacks which are so lethal even to very powerful enemies. Imagine Bruce Lee with ability to shoot energy blast as strong as nuclear blast.
Ryu is also genius in martial arts. Fighting is his life, and he can find the proper way to defeat Batman. Ryu knows that Batman is normal human who relies on his suit and gadgets. Perhaps first Ryu will have to dismantle Batman’s gadgets using his attack and speed first, then knock Bruce down easily.

Batman, no matter what crossover event has almost always won (apparently he lost against cane but I still have to see a scan to believe that one). He defeats many super powered beings of unimaginable strength and is more intelligent than almost any other charactor in both the DC and Marvel worlds (Iron man is possible stronger due to the fact that Iron man has brain lobe cells across his entire body making him a living brain essentially) and tends to be able to outsmart any opponent. He has intense martial training in all of the martial arts and with his batsuit his strength far superior to any average human. His gadgets range from the mundain to the bizzare and when battling an opponent he tends to fight them once to figure out there weakness, then devises a gadget or weapon to beat them before returning and finishing them off. Batman may not have powers, but living in a world full of superhumans (look at how many super hero’s DC has come out with) has caused him to learn to cope with his lack in the superhuman powers department.

But Batman is so much MORE than a ninja, he’s a genious, he’s a millionare that can get his hands on basicly anything he needs to battle Ryu, he is a superhero who fights crime on a daily basis, he is a war tactician and he is trained in all forms of fighting, not just jutsu.

actually there are many people in the marvel universe who are smarter than him seeing as they know almost everything baout their world and others: black panther, mr. fantastic, and dr. doom to name a few....but I don’t see what that has to do with the debate, so what can ryu do?
