If it’s kept at a distance Vincent would have a good advantage over Dante, but Dante is also quick enough (and probably smart enough after he gets hit with a couple of bullets) to close in the gap and go melee, where Vincent is much weaker.
Although the big stumbling block is transformations, because it’s obvious that Vincent is insanly fast in his transformations and Dante as a human is very quick it never really does illustrate how quick he is in DT, I still think their speed would be pretty well matched.
So it’d basically be a fight between range and melee, which Dante doesn’t really have that much of a disadvantage with range compared to Vincent’s disadvantage with melee.
Add in a whole shitload of weapons and you got yourself a pretty good shebang but I still think Dante would win out in the end.

I haven’t owned shit, and my head is clear out of my ass. Maybe when I’m engaging in some vicious competition online may I say “OWNED”, but not in civil debate, because its about respect. Besides, he hasn’t really said anything yet, so what is there to own anyway?

And no, DOC is no where near the same as DMC, and the difference isn’t just in the fact DOC sucks ass. The only similarity I ever saw was the fact both were wearing red coats and had guns.
Also, Dante has two guns, grenade launchers, shotguns, swords, nunchukus, dual blades of fire and ice, gauntlets, and Devil Triggers. The Devil Triggers would be the equivalents to Vincent’s transformations, but far deadlier since he not only is faster, stronger, and durable, he also gains regenerative properties.
Also, Dante could survive the majority of bullets Vincent put into him, and dodge any explosives easily.
In close quarters, Dante would just spin circles around Vincent and slash him up. If I remember correctly, Dante can also slow and/or freeze time in DMC3 in one of his style, but I forget...Until I can correctly recall, that’s in the open for now.
The only reason I believe that Vincent can win is because of the exceptional abilities he showed when Fighting Weiss at the end of the game. During that fight Vincent showed himself to be much faster than Dante, and the Death Penalty would most definitely do damage to Dante, it does damage to the Omega Weapon after all.
Also, I don’t think DOC was that bad of a game, I rather enjoyed playing as Vincent, and although the gameplay wasn’t as solid as it should have been, I think overall it was a good game and I don’t regret spending the time to beat it.
@ Nero4 - Nobody cares, now you wanna know something? I know just who you are, you’re the only person on these forums that seems to hate me, and it’s because I OWN you everytime we have a debate. So what I recommend is for you to just leave this topic because you obviously don’t know enough about Vincent to even begin to argue, and the second reason you should leave is so that I don’t own you AGAIN.

I got a taste in the Laharl vs Sora thread(I mean he went on to debate with you about if FF characters were the originals or not and never replied about Sora being able to beat Laharl.) Yusif said Goku would win because he would blow up the sun and somehow surive, or since GT is canon(which we all know it isn’t) Goku became immortal at the end and since its a fight to the death(even though it never was said it was)Goku would get stronger than Superman and beat him.God of War asked how does he know Goku can blow up the sun and he said since Goku has no limit he would get strong enough to destroy it. I heard much much more but I don’t want to keep you here all night.

Quite some time ago I not only proved that the FF characters on KH weren’t the real characters, but I also proved they were weaker, and you saw yourself how he kept saying I was wrong.

If you have good rep you can either rep or neg rep someone. From the way Yusif is hated(Weeman, Asterec, Chaos Spartan,you, and possible many more} his rep bar would be in the negatives which in Naruto forums would say “Yusif24 has been to hell and back”.

There was this guy named Ando who said Neji has never been defeated. Someone posted a picture of Naruto defeating Neji from the MANGA and he called it filler.The real reason though is the DBZ tards running around. They called the Flash slow just because he gets hit by guys slower than him.
