No, its a feature. Nintendo goes around screaming about the motion sensing. Xbox doesn’t go around screaming about the customizeable faceplate, its just a nice feature.

Nintendo doesn’t scream about anything, their fans do.

360 and fans are screaming about Halo 3, is that a gimmick too?

how so? it allows for greater immersion into a game, a fresh gameplay experience, and a simpeler controll style.

well, actualy, it is a gimmick.

See its a gimmick,like the Zelda games. They are now a gimmick. Same with the Mario sports series (Mario Tennis, Mario Soccer etc.)

Because. There are a ton of Zelda games. And there are/will be three Halo games. The system sits right on top of LoZ: TP. The 360 doesn’t sit on the Halo games, and never has.

thier has been alot of zelda games, yet they are still each different then previous games (unlike halo, but i would rather not get into that.... ask zucas if you must. he would be more then happy to tell you how repeditive halo is.) and, the launch is dependent on more games then just that. zelda is just one of many big titals near launch.

I am biased. And I will not buy a Wii. But I will buy a 360, and Halo 3. And a custom faceplate for my 360. go suck your wii-wii.

It uses a remote. A TV remote. Wow, how creative. Oh, look. They took the House of the Dead’s motion sensing and stuck into a TV remote. If I wanted motion sensing I could buy House of the Dead III, and a light gun, and play WITH MOTION SENSING ZOMG!

why dont i know what that game is? oh well, doesn’t matter.

ok, the nice thing with the wii is that it is more then a light gun. alot more. it can pinpoint its location in space, and sence forward, backward, virdical and horisontal movement along with being able to sence pivits. also, it can be used for all games. anyways, apparently its original enough for sony to copy it. :P.

ya. sony is the scum of the earth... honestly, i think that they make decent systems. i just cant stand the company to the point where i would never buy a playstation (well, never in the forseable future.) i think that the wiimote will be amasing, and i can post my reasons for that (involves a link... “read about it before you critisize it”, but i realy dont see the point. i also think that it the most original thing since the annolog stick, and that it has the potential to change the gaming industry. but, if thats not your thing, if you just dont like the idea of it, then i guess its your life and your money. i just urge you- play it somewere before you decide for sure. you never know, you may like it.

How is the controller a gimmick? With a controller like the remote then there are an almost endless possiblity to the games that can come out for the wii, I would not be surpised if The wii gets the most third party support this gen because with a controller like the remote with the nunchuk there are so many new games that can be made and alrady existing franchises could be made to play the game just as well. Ubisoft has alone made 8 games for the wii and they see the possiblities with the controller, other companies like lucasarts, sega, konami, namco, capcom, and so many more can make great games with many of the franchises they have now.
