I don’t know about pictures (I wonder too what would happen) but the ability to not copy and paste a link would be nice for everybody, and many people agree with the 60 second rule, so that seems fine to me.
P.S- is there anything that you would want me to regulate in the off-topic section, such as language or an obsession to call guests and members “homosexuals?" --- "We can’t solve problems using the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein

Regarding the 60 second rule; I have lowered it to 30 seconds for registered users already.
— but the ability to not copy and paste a link would be nice for everybody
Good idea! I can make links posted by registered users clickable.
— an obsession to call guests and members “homosexuals?"
Moderate that, and in extreme cases/repeated cases ban.
One other thing, that I am contemplating, is being able to quote another post in the topic when replying.
Regarding picture post, well yeah it would be cool but risky. It is being considered. --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...

A few weeks ago we had an imposter posting a website (not saying the URL) that was obscene and they wanted everyone to see it, and if a registered person posts two a minute, then it would be impossible to stop it after it happens. Normally, I and the other moderators don’t get word of the stuff until somebody comes to us. I think that a link to it would be suffice. --- "We can’t solve problems using the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein

Going Sentimental Rep: 27 Joined: 01 Aug 2005 Posts: 7,796 | I don’t know, but I’m guessing it has partly to do with the fact that moviecodec.com is a place mostly to type a movie/game problem, get answers, and leave and never come back. If you go to the General forum, there are barely a few regulars.
Having identities would ruin the “it is for everybody look”
Again, my guess.
*BTW- Bjarne, my ability to sticky has been deactivated. Obviously you know of this, but if you may, please list improvements as to how I may sticky and unsticky topics with greater knowledge. --- "We can’t solve problems using the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein
