i respect both rage against the machine and system of a down but if you want to pin this argument to a fine point here it is:
Rage against the machine closed the stock exchange giving people like System of a down (Iraqies) a hefty sum of the worlds money....and what did the fuckin arabs do? they spent it on weapons which practically killed themselves then tried blaming everyone else.........thats where system of a down comes in, all they do is say what a pathetic job of government bush is doing but it was SOAD’s leader who fucked up in the first place...cant you fucking see it has been saddam hussein the whole time!

People I listen to Korn on the Sream award show on Spike tv and they SUCKED SO BAD! It is not even funny. I was crying.

Korn didnt suck at the scream awards.
i will admit it that they arent as good as they used to be (well their guiterist did quit and they kinda changed their sound in the last few years)
but korn was the highlight of that sorry excuse for an award show!

First of all, I’d like to mention that I like all three of these bands — Korn, Rage Against The Machine, and System Of A Down. Korn has been my favorite nu-metal band for as long as I can remember, so I’d have to pick them in the race against System Of A Down — SOAD just can’t compare to the elite nu-metal band. As far as SOAD and RATM goes, I definitely have to go with Rage Against The Machine. Both are powerfully political; but Zack’s lyrics feel deeper and more inspired than Serj’s. The fact that he raps when he sings also takes it to a new level, allowing him to incorporate larger details in the message he’s trying to convey. As far as musical talent goes, RATM takes the cake with no question. Tom Morello of Rage was named #26 in Rolling Stone’s top 100 guitarists of all time, and his powerfully-catchy riffs and unconventional hip-hop influenced solos definitely catch that — where are SOAD’s solos? Nonexistent. Tim Commerford is also an incredible bass player, especially compared to the SOMETIMES inaudible sound of SOAD’s bass. I’m not saying SOAD doesn’t have musically talent; because they definitely do — and that is why I listen to them. But if you compared them side-by-side I’d be drawn to the machine (Rage). Also, if you haven’t noticed, the mere QUALITY of Rage’s albums sound better. The very first album released back in 1992 is still used even TODAY to test speaker and amplifier systems.

I have also never met a Rage album I didn’t like; yet I was thoroughly disappointed with SOAD’s last couple of albums — especially Hypnotize. The best songs (and they’re many good ones) should have been compiled onto one album in the first place.
Anyway, sorry for the long reply, but I’ve been waiting to give these two great bands a thorough comparison.

this is like comparing Pizza Hut and Popa Johns, theres no right answer. Korn has a cool voice, but SOAD got the better guitars. Only one solution- compine them

or how about just likeing both of them equally! i love korn! their family values tour this summer was the best concert i have ever been to! (and i have been to a lot)
it had korn playing for 2 hours plus other great bands like
Stone Sour
Deftones
Flyleaf
bury your dead
10 years
and a few other good metal bands!

If you look bad or good shouldnt affect you musical talent. Next Voice john didnt fuck up fucking shit his voice is fine and he can still pull of the same notes as before (same growls screams twists etc) Next CONSIDERING most bands change to what ever they like (like metallica changed once they got rich ) once they have enough cash to live for the rest of their lives and experiment with their music Korn was and still is a heavy metal band which kicks ass which means they didnt fake it from the start just so they could fit in with some trend and make some money Now For Soad <_< The only thing i don like about the is the accent the vocal dude has I wish i could slander that band but I cant cuse i dont know that much about them and comparing them to korn is like comparing elvis to james hetfeild Not sain james is better or korn is better but just saying if you look into it THEY ARE LIKE TWO TOTTALY DIFFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC ....their grouped into the heavy metal rock category but no one ever looks into that korn is NUMETAL <_< subcategory <_<
