It’s mainly because I grew up with the PS1 controller, I didn’t really get into Video games untill 1997 when they released Final Fantasy VII, I was eight years old at the time. Before that I didn’t play games that often, in fact the PlayStation was the first console I actually owned. The NES, SNES, and N64 belonged to my brother, so I wasn’t allowed to play them too often.
But, now that I think about it, the only controller I ever had a problem with was the original x-box controller. It has to be the the second crappiest controller made, right beside the Sega Saturn’s controller. Which is why when I bought an xbox I was sure to grab a couple Controller-S'. ---
