how bout, 'i like both of them', how bout that?
or maybe, 'both of them sucks', huh?
or how bout, 'rock worshippers AND rap worshippers suck each other like two horny, drug addicted, loose pussied sluts'

hmmmm.... i think the last one is much better.

ROck actually requires effort, and practice. It’s not like rap. All you have to do is write a poem and speak it. Rock you need to write a song, write the chords, notes, etc. practice day and night until you get it just right. And compile it all together.

And I like how you avoided how I handed your ass on a plate with Hendrix and Kravitz.

And then you have to KNOW THE LINES. You see performances on TV and stuff? They sing parts of the lines. Not the whole song.

Rock is much better.. i liked rap once, but now i don’t like it anymore..

You want black rockers ?

SEPULTURA
or
JIMI HENDRIX
there are a lot..
LIVING COLOUR

and rap talks always about the same thing..

rock talks about war, violence, politic, drugs, girls, love, monsters (yeah i like iron maiden and metallica)

and, last but not least (or maybe least but not last, english isn’t my first language) can you dedicate a rap song to a girl ?
NO
i will never dedicate her a song about bitches.. grin

I very much prefer rock. That’s real music.

It takes so much more talent to be a rocker. You need to be able to jump around the stage, play the guitar AND scream your head off!

Dude, you can’t be in a real rock band without having a good voice, listen to Axl Rose, Brian Johnson, Zakk Wylde, Bruce Dickinson, I’d like to see rappers hit notes like that.

hip hop n r&b singers can sing way better than rockstars.
If you wanna listen to a good r&b song listen to kci n jojo - all my life
or - tell me its real

and many hip hop songs have singing AND RAP
so hop hop takes way more talent than rock

If you can name a singer, who can sing better, with more magnitutde, pitch, and perfect notes, then I will drop the voice argument. But since I’m sure none of you know who Axl Rose is, or Guns N' ROses, remember that song from the San Andreas commercial? “Welcome to the Jungle”? Well, that’s Axl Rose’s voice. Name one rapper who can sing like that.

Rappers can sing ? WTF ?

Just listen to Led Zeppelin or Queen.. they have very great voices.. or U2.. Bono Vox has an amazing voice !!

And rock music comes from heart.. there are riffs that are so beatiful, so armonic, so perfect that they could’ve been written by god !

i agree with terocious-k ci and jojo have been described as two individuals that have the vocal talents of an entire choir, but personally,my opinion would have to be that rap and r&b are way better than rock.i mean the lyrics in many of tupac’s songs are true.eg:

*who do you beleive in
*changes
*life goes on
*i ain’t mad at ya

oh and some other good hip hop singers

jamie fox- he is very talented which is why he got the role in the movie 'RAY'

Usher- good voice and can dance better than any rockstar

boys 2 men- a good song to listen from them is 'its so hard to say goodbye'

Beyonce- also another good singer, she starred in the movie 'The fighting tempations'

Mariah Carey- another good singer that is recognized by her voice

KCI N JOJO- have better voices than any rockstar

And so many more, but my point is that hip hop n r&b takes way more talent than rock
Because songs like Pretty Ricky, some of Ushers songs and Tupacs songs HAVE good SINGING and RAPPING. And hip hop n r&b music is not always about rapping, theres alot of singing in it too.

you know what? seeing these rockers argue the crap out of rappers make me cringe so, here.
you can name famous black rockers(two), but, those black rockers were around before rap like, existed.
so here, name famous black rockers from the last 10/20 years.

i can name some more modern black rockers. Ivory Mobley from Showbread, Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage(althought someone already mentioned that.), Lajon Witherspoon from Sevendust. so its not just a bunch of white people. Claudio Sanchez from Coheed and Cambria is a mix of Italian and Puerto Rican.
