DestinyGuy678 Is a perfect example of why rap music is hot right now, Stupid people buy the music they like. smart people download it.

If you think rap artists are talking about true stories. or something that was even relevantly close to even happening. your a fool. all rap artits did in thier childhood was run around a crappy ghetto wearing baggy clothes smoking weed/crack talking about how hard they are. and to say rock doesnt exress realness is purely moronic, your just too stupid/shallow to interperet the lyrics/emotions. if you relate to a rap artist, you are like them... a moron.
50 cent. no talent. ja rule. no talent. lil jon. can work a drum machine but cant hit a note for the life of him. Have you ever heard a rapper without a beat? No. because that would be just some dumbass fatherless loser talking about how hard is life is when he was born here with the same chance as any american to make it in this life. The reason there is a ghetto, is because the people that live there drive everyone els out and keep the place crappy with thier negative attitude. look at any asian who comes over here and in one lifetime does better than 3 black generations living on welfare. Facts are facts. i agree, life is hard when you are stupid.
Walking around selling/smoking crack wearing size 80 pants and a shirt that goes down to your knees avoiding gunshots from the person you where talking shit about doesnt make you hard. it makes you a complete uneducated moron. Just like your ancesters before you. Call me racist. But if it wasnt for the “white man holding you down”, there wouldnt even be african americans.

I don’t like them over rock.

And rockers sing about their lives and experiences too. Sweet Child O’Mine, My Michelle, Shake Your Foundations, Again, Mr. Cab Driver, and more. Rap sings about vaugue subjects like “The Candy Shop” or maybe the words “OK!!!"

destinyguy, you say that rock just makes up their lyrics, go listen to some old rock like metallica, guns n roses, poison and many other bands. there music has meaning, and rap doesnt take skill, all you’re doing is talking about drugs and hookers and rhyming, not that hard

Yeah...
Uh huh
So seductive

[Chorus: 50 Cent & Olivia]
[50 Cent]
I take you to the candy shop
I’ll let you lick the lollypop
Go 'head girl, don’t you stop
Keep going 'til you hit the spot (woah)
[Olivia]
I’ll take you to the candy shop
Boy one taste of what I got
I’ll have you spending all you got
Keep going 'til you hit the spot (woah)

[Verse 1: 50 Cent]
You can have it your way, how do you want it
You gon' back that thing up or should i push up on it
Temperature rising, okay lets go to the next level
Dance floor jam packed, hot as a teakettle
I’ll break it down for you now, baby it’s simple
If you be a nympho, I’ll be a nympho
In the hotel or in the back of the rental
On the beach or in the park, it’s whatever you into
Got the magic stick, I’m the love doctor
Have your friends teasin you 'bout how sprung I gotcha
Wanna show me how you work it baby, no problem
Get on top then get to bouncing round like a low rider
I’m a seasons vet when it come to this shit
After you broke up a sweat you can play with the stick
I’m tryin to explain baby the best way I can
I melt in your mouth girl, not in your hands (ha ha)

[Chorus]

[Bridge: 50 Cent & Olivia]
Girl what we do (what we do)
And where we do (and where we do)
The things we do (things we do)
Are just between me and you (oh yeah)

[Verse 2: 50 Cent]
Give it to me baby, nice and slow
Climb on top, ride like you in the rodeo
You ain’t never heard a sound like this before
Cause I ain’t never put it down like this
Soon as I come through the door she get to pullin on my zipper
It’s like it’s a race who can get undressed quicker
Isn’t it ironic how erotic it is to watch em in thongs
Had me thinking 'bout that ass after I’m gone
I touch the right spot at the right time
Lights on or lights off, she like it from behind
So seductive, you should see the way she wind
Her hips in slow-mo on the floor when we grind
As Long as she ain’t stoppin, homie I aint stoppin
Drippin wet with sweat man its on and popping
All my champagne campaign, bottle after bottle its on
And we gon' sip til every bubble in the bottle is gone

[Chorus]

Sounds more like a soft-core porn than music or life experiences.

Rock and metal are way better than a bunch of people talking to themselves!

Rock has meaning and talks about a ride variety of things where as rappers talk about girls, girls nd er, girls.

Also rockers can usually also play instruments not just talk fast so no one can undestand the words.

Ah, so that might be the where we get the sayin “men can’t do two things at once”

it’s from the rappers. All they do is talk continueously, whereas rockers play instuments, jump around and sing/shout at the same time so they definitly are more talented!

Plus it takes more effort to write a rock piece as they have 2 also include the drums, guitar, lyrics etc..

Yeh.. so my point is rock is better!!

Jumping and shouting? Are you a nincompoop? Let’s see you pick up a guitar, and play Eruption, or Purple Haze. That’s a lot more than screaming and jumping my friend. And if you can see that, then I might as well drop this conversation as it would be clear I could hold a better conversation with a pineapple.

Music is just that, music, and someone’s artform.Noone has to agree with anything you say,yet if you want to SELL records and be RICH,you follow the demographics and what the crowd likes. If you want pure art,you will probably be making a couple of copies, staying underground/indie,and staying on your JOB.If you wanna know what’s better, that is up to each person. If you want to talk sales,RAP pimpslaps rock,hands-down.Don’t get it twisted...People of ALL colors, ages, shapes, sizes, and religions listen to rap and hiphop, even those who say they don’t....
