Its popular to people under 20,because they never got to expience what talented musicians really were in the 80;s.the good bands got older,quit making music,stopped touring,gave it up cause the ran out of songs.So here comes Rap,Hip-Hop.Sure its popular.To kids.Find me someone over 30 that listens to rap.(Or does Rap).good luck.

Rock is actually still more popular. Elvis is making more money than most rappers, and he’s been dead for years.
