most modern rap and and modern rock suck. the rock from the 60’s and 70’s was alsome. and the rap from the 80’s was cool, but people like 50 cent fucked up rap, and those heavy metal bands fucked up rock.

Seriously, rap is the stupidest form of music ever. In fact, I wouldn’t even call it music. It’s someone talking to a “usually” shitty rhythm. No, it isn’t a beat that you’re hearing and liking. Learn your music terminology. Anyone that says “Yo, these beats are hot” is a fucking idiot, and has no idea what they are talking about.

In fact, it’s worse because you’re using words that aren’t really words, and you’re speaking in a way that is all fucked up. All rappers need to get a Dictionary, a Thesaurus, and a big fucking slap to the face. We should rob them all and put them back to where they came from because they got rich for doing nothing. Go fucking help somebody do something worthwhile. Pffftt, donate to charities my ass. People act like throwing money is the solution to everything. How about they go and find a few homeless people, take them to their big fucking mansions, and feed them in their own homes? Doubt you’ll find some rapper doing that. heh thats find, however i h8 people that just like a certain type music cuz its the new fad or something, i meen i still like rock and roll and classic rock like led zeppelin, or the rolling stones, (old rolling stones, mijagger has lost his voice) but yea people like certain music and shit like that, but im sure there are a few people who posted that rap is best or rock is best cuz their friends or some shit that likes that kind of music and they just want to be cool or something, but those kind of people suck and dont deserve to listen to any music.

my confusion comes from, how can you define rap as music?. As I have stated before rap has a serious lack of instrumentation, dynamics, musicallity, and harmonics. Take the lyrics out of rap and you are truly left with “c"rap. Who can stand to listen to the same 2 bar patern over and over again for 3 minutes? Speaking as a musician rap is NOT!!! music.

First of all, I have never done anything in my series of arguments but refute the fact that mainstream hip hop is good music and “rapes the hell out of rock” (to quote an ignorant anthropoid) simply because of it’s popularity.
popularity quantifies how many people listen to the music not if the music is good. Dare I say that mainstream hip hop is bad music, I do with a vehement Yes. So butt hair and retinue, your argument is and was invalid. people’s tastes in certain music does not determine the overall quality of the music correlation does not infer causality. No matter how much pouting, complaining, and filibustering is done about it.
