Yeah, and more people probably lived better lives too. More people probably went to Heaven. I’m sure there was less divorce and murder back then too. Back then...

What if the person having the kid was raped? Should she be forced to risk a shitty life and even death at birth just because of your belief?

Why should she kill the kid anyway? Is she so selfish that she only thinks about herself and not about the kid? If they don’t want a kid give it to someone else don’t kill it. And it’s 10 out of 100 chances that she would die in birth.

Everyone is selfish. It’s human instinct. Yeah 10 out of one hundred is quite a risk for something that wasn’t your fault. There is no such thing as a selfless person.

Not only that but it depends on the age of the person who was raped. If it’s like a 12-15 year old. Your saying that they have the same chance as someone who’s older and more mature who was planning on having a child?

Okay, so if someone was worrid that they were going to die because of Birth then you or I would be dead right now, I don’t think that a mother would want to go though birth because if the pain, but I think that they find out thats it’s worth it because of the joy from a baby. And not evey Human is selfish.

And by the way, you would have to be raped about 20 times before you become pragnet.

well i think that you guys had very good points. i myself am too against abortion but only under some circumstances, say tou are 13 and prgnant. Some might say that if you are adult enough to engage in such activities then you are adult enough to deal with the down falls of toes actions. which i also agree with. But sex shouldnt have consequences that will stick with you for the rest of your life.

goldenraptor wrote: I believe that minors SHOULD BE REQUIRED BY LAW to get an abortion, and by minors I believe anyone under the age of 17. The possibility is that their lives may be turned upside down is very real. Unless you have rich and forgiving parents, which by standards of livings most children do not, then the experiences may be painful. First, you may drop out of school. If you do, then you have to earn a second living. If you choose to do so, half of your 5.95 and hour goes to a babysitter while you are at a job. However, if you somehow stay in school and end up finding your way into college, then paying student loans ALONG with loans for a baby may literally cause the “Parent” to resort to suicide, which unforunately is a major effect of un-proficient teen pregnancy.

However, adult females (17 or above) should have the choice. If a woman wants to have her baby, she should not be required by law to have an aborition or not to do so. And as Black Hydra Xc said, what if sex is forced. Can you really afford to keep your life-style and a baby? Children are costing roughly 45% of a average worker’s salary (60,000) and that is only for the child. Taxes, food, clothing, shelter (in most cases a rent) and schooling are among many things that are almost certainly plauging somebody with pre-mature child-birth. This isn’t the 15th Century. Woman now are not forced to marry who they want have be slaves. This is the 21st Century. They should have a choice.

I disagree with you! Why would you take away a childs right to live. It is better to be miserable then to have never even exsist.
