no scince only a few things in the bible have proven right witch is the existence of the people in there accept Adam and Eve witch is obviously fake. Nothing else is right no flood could had covered the world this is fact science has proven that false also adam and eve so i dont know what that dumbass is trying to say since it comes out racist and false

You dont seem to read the bible closely, all the “scientific principles” you say the bible states this, and the bible states that, but all they are are nothing more than blanket statements. You take phrases like “smaller than can be seen by the eye”, and take them to mean their talking about atoms, but that phrase says jack shit about atoms, it could mean ANYTHING small, but you and others like you jump to conclusions and make it seem more mystical then it is.

Just because a christian radio station says that the bible and science go hand in hand means nothing, you’re trusting information from an extremely biased source.

About the seashell thing, they were BURIED in all the mud and sediments during the flood, that’s why they didn’t have time to open up and die.


And no, the science stuff in the Bible is pretty clear, I didn’t use the atom example you gave. Things I used had the Bible talking about the circulation of the air and the earth being suspended and other things that are pretty clearly scientifically correct.


And I just mentioned a few words from the radio station because they said it well. I already had my ideas and thoughts before this, about science and the Bible going hand in hand, you can witness this in my previous posting, maybe 3 months back or earlier.

The word “circle” in Hebrew can mean anything spherical or rounded or arched, not neccessarily a 2-d circle, but 3-d spherical can be implied from this as well.

so according to you, SWC, our resident expert on all things biblical and scientific.. How long does it take to form a fossil?

secondly, when do your christian radio gurus claim that and the great flood, and Noah repopulating the earth, occurred?

Now try to add those two time frames together, and have it make ANY scientific OR biblical sense

How does anything you say make sense, when you base everything off websites, tv and radio shows run by fundamentalist baptists?

I would like to say that SWC is just trying to do what he thinks is right so leave him alone, but there is a lot bad that can come from people trying to do what THEY think is right.... like the old quote goes, some of the worst things in history were done with the best intentions.....

Not saying that SWC is that bad, but some of his misinformation could harm some that listen.... I’m not saying that I know all the answers either, I just know what I can find out... my advice is take what people say with a grain of salt... try to find the good in what they say... and take that for a belief... discard or question the rest... that will get you closer to a truth...

YOU CANNOT RECREATE A SPECIES FROM ONLY TWO OF THAT SPECIES... get that through your head and accept the fact that the adam and eve story is impossible...

Once again, WOAH! They noticed that the sun and the moon move, that the sea and the waves roar, and that the stars and moon provide light in the night. Holy hell, how could i ever question the bibles tremendous impact on science!

From what i gather from this, the bible is saying that the wind is on a circular path, in other words it seems like it’s saying that the wind migrates like birds. WOAH, another major acheivement! Inform the scientific community!

This proves NOTHING of fluid dynamics, and the fact that it implies the air has weight means nothing as well, you can say that the air has weight by the fact that things move in the wind.

Alright, so in hebrew round can mean different things, SO? Because of the way the bible was interpretted anyone who said the earth was round was considered a heretic, only in hindsight is the bible reinterpretted. Science said it first, but because of the vague wording in the bible you jump out and claim the glory for it.

I’m not an expert, I just like to learn things and I do research on the web.


Fossils? Fossils form when there is a quick, tremendous force to bury the creature, but the fossils take a long time to form, I don’t know how much, there, see, I’m not an expert.


When the Flood took place? This info is not from the radio, it’s from the web: about 2500-2300 BC


Now I don’t get what your whole time thing means. What’s the point?


And actually, the radio people are most likely various Christians, that being baptist, pentecostal, and others. As for the web, the web is a very good tool, there is much good, reliable information there. In fact, according to the scientific method, you may do the researching stage on the internet, this means there is just as good of information on the web as books.


What, you never used the web to do some research?

Yeah just don’t claim that wikapedia is an absolute source of truth.... like some people did on some term papers.... Just like the bible there is good information and bad information on the web, you just need to learn how to sort through it if you want to be closer to a truth in accuracy.....
