By 2100, all of the coastlines we know will be decreased by at least 20 miles...

We are emitting more greenhouse gases in five years than the entire 1800s.

What do you think?

Typical millennialist.

I think the warming temperatures are a result of a warming cycle (normal) and also fossil fuel emissions.

SWC, let me explain something. If Christians didn’t promote having as many kids as they can, we wouldn’t have all these people who pollute with cars. And actually, the greenhouse gas level WILL go down by then a lot. Hydrogen cars are coming out and I’m getting one in a few years.

Ill be getting one too. I already drive a compact car and I dispise the SUVs and trucks. I laugh at them at the gas station. Americans are so wasteful.

Out of curiosity, what level of education do you have SWC? I believe in another thread that you were refering to the public school system and it implied you were in high school.

Ha ha. Here is the thing. As much as I love people agreeing with me, I want something to be understood here. Education has nothing to do with school. School can help you understand things but academically speaking, school does not teach you everything in life. I learn more from books and discussions of philosophy with others than school.

Oh, so blame the Christians, right? No one else to put the blame on, and yourself, wouldn’t even think about it, right? We all help pollute, hair spray, cars, lawn mowers, go karts, etc... It’s everyones' fault, agreed? Or have you never used a gasoline powered machine? And about the car, I’m thinking more along the lines of a hybrid, you know, the ones that use electricity and gasoline combined, with better mileage and less pollutants released.

“Ill be getting one too. I already drive a compact car and I dispise the SUVs and trucks. I laugh at them at the gas station. Americans are so wasteful."

Right on. I mean, why waste all that gasoline? Just to look good on a big SUV? Our family like rides on a small car with all the seats full, and while we are pumping up gas, this lady, alone, pulls up next to us, on a huge car, and I mean huge, like a super sized truck. Why? Why waste? I don’t get it...

Why does it matter? Schools have nothing to do with spiritual growth, I mean public schools. You can learn more about religions and science and theories by visiting a library more often and picking out good books, then by sitting in a classroom in public school, where they don’t even talk about religion. I agree with Black Hydra and his post that followed your’s.

This is true. But most people do not utilize the library and only learn what is taught to them at school. Also, there comprenshion and success can be less optimal than learning at school. But the question is still the same. What level of education do you have? High school? Undergrad college? Post-grad collge? You may be more or less educated than your peers, I just want to know where you stand in our school system since we are having an essay debate. Spirituality is not the kind of education I was asking about.

In another thread about public prayer you were complaining about what was going on in your school, I thought you were in high school, perhaps middle school but I doubt it.

It’s not all the Christians. And agreed, other religions promote as many children as possible too. But I think that Christians might be one of the most irrisponsible about it. Considering a third of the world is made up of Christians, I would say it’s fair that they promote among the largest pollution levels compared to the rest. They promote groth so much that it scares me. Our world is overpopulating and the only thing they do is continue contributing to overpopulation.

Population will be corrected by a natural calamity, probably famine or disease. unfortunately most of the death will be in africa, india, and china, and not equally distibuted to everyone.
