That’s true. And that’s what’s going to happen. Not that there is anything I can do to persuade blind sighted people, but I don’t happen to want to go through that bullshit.

India and China .. definitely not.. i refuse to believe it..

i doubt if Europeans or Americans will ..survive ... a drought . or a famine that is ... or even a tropical disease pandemic .. (asians at the tropics got a better resistance)

I can learn more off the Internet than in some University about the falsidities of Evolution, because they don’t teach that. In public school they teach Evolution, even though it is still a theory and hasn’t been proven. But I’ll tell you, High School. What did you think? What about you?

The word theory, in the context of science, does not imply uncertainty. It means “a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena” (Barnhart 1948). In the case of the theory of evolution, the following are some of the phenomena involved. All are facts:
Life appeared on earth more than two billion years ago;
Life forms have changed and diversified over life’s history;
Species are related via common descent from one or a few common ancestors;
Natural selection is a significant factor affecting how species change.
Many other facts are explained by the theory of evolution as well.
The theory of evolution has proved itself in practice. It has useful applications in epidemiology, pest control, drug discovery, and other areas
Nothing in the real world can be proved with absolute certainty. However, high degrees of certainty can be reached. In the case of evolution, we have huge amounts of data from diverse fields. Extensive evidence exists in all of the following different forms (Theobald 2004). Each new piece of evidence tests the rest.
All life shows a fundamental unity in the mechanisms of replication, heritability, catalysis, and metabolism.
Common descent predicts a nested hierarchy pattern, or groups within groups. We see just such an arrangement in a unique, consistent, well-defined hierarchy, the so-called tree of life.
Different lines of evidence give the same arrangement of the tree of life. We get essentially the same results whether we look at morphological, biochemical, or genetic traits.
Fossil animals fit in the same tree of life. We find several cases of transitional forms in the fossil record.
The fossils appear in a chronological order, showing change consistent with common descent over hundreds of millions of years and inconsistent with sudden creation.
Many organisms show rudimentary, vestigial characters, such as sightless eyes or wings useless for flight.
Atavisms sometimes occur. An atavism is the reappearance of a character present in a distant ancestor but lost in the organism’s immediate ancestors. We only see atavisms consistent with organisms' evolutionary histories.
Ontogeny (embryology and developmental biology) gives information about the historical pathway of an organism’s evolution. For example, as embryos whales and many snakes develop hind limbs that are reabsorbed before birth.
The distribution of species is consistent with their evolutionary history. For example, marsupials are mostly limited to Australia, and the exceptions are explained by continental drift. Remote islands often have species groups that are highly diverse in habits and general appearance but closely related genetically. Squirrel diversity coincides with tectonic and sea level changes (Mercer and Roth 2003). Such consistency still holds when the distribution of fossil species is included.
Evolution predicts that new structures are adapted from other structures that already exist, and thus similarity in structures should reflect evolutionary history rather than function. We see this frequently. For example, human hands, bat wings, horse legs, whale flippers, and mole forelimbs all have similar bone structure despite their different functions.
The same principle applies on a molecular level. Humans share a large percentage of their genes, probably more than 70 percent, with a fruit fly or a nematode worm.
When two organisms evolve the same function independently, different structures are often recruited. For example, wings of birds, bats, pterosaurs, and insects all have different structures. Gliding has been implemented in many additional ways. Again, this applies on a molecular level, too.
The constraints of evolutionary history sometimes lead to suboptimal structures and functions. For example, the human throat and respiratory system make it impossible to breathe and swallow at the same time and make us susceptible to choking.
Suboptimality appears also on the molecular level. For example, much DNA is nonfunctional.
Some nonfunctional DNA, such as certain transposons, pseudogenes, and endogenous viruses, show a pattern of inheritance indicating common ancestry.
Speciation has been observed.
The day-to-day aspects of evolution — heritable genetic change, morphological variation and change, functional change, and natural selection — are seen to occur at rates consistent with common descent.
Furthermore, the different lines of evidence are consistent; they all point to the same big picture. For example, evidence from gene duplications in the yeast genome shows that its ability to ferment glucose evolved about eighty million years ago. Fossil evidence shows that fermentable fruits became prominent about the same time. Genetic evidence for major change around that time also is found in fruiting plants and fruit flies .
The evidence is extensive and consistent, and it points unambiguously to evolution, including common descent, change over time, and adaptation influenced by natural selection. It would be preposterous to refer to these as anything other than facts.

When you read non-scholarly websites that are full of misconception, you are not learning much. You are learning the creationists' distorted version of evolution who claim it is only a theory and not a fact. You should trust scholarly sources for quality information, not the amateurs who can’t accurately present information, let alone refute it. I am a undergrad student.
"For example, as embryos whales and many snakes develop hind limbs that are reabsorbed before birth."
That only proves Genesis. Because the snake used to have legs, but God then took them away because the snake tricked Eve into doing wrong. Thanks for the info.
“For example, the human throat and respiratory system make it impossible to breathe and swallow at the same time and make us susceptible to choking."
Then how come you choke instead of just die? God put in a function into our bodies that makes us choke and force the object out, it only proves His intelligence.

Oh, like Piltdown man, right? Where his skull was a combination of a human’s and an orangatan’s. Nice transitional form, a big lie.

It’s something called an Intelligent Creator. It doesn’t prove Evolution.

That’s sort of sad. Your defenses suck.

Right, a reptile developed abstract thought all of a sudden. And not only that, but a reptile developed a vocal chord too! And then it magically became smarter than a human. And then it’s descendants were all punished for their ancestors wrong doings.

Satan is a spirit, Satan came into the garden of Eden and came to Eve through the body of a snake. Get it now?

It’s just a myth like the myths before it that Christians appropriated the symbol of the serpent from. These are ancient myths in which the snake has symbolised many things - mostly positive/useful things, not “evil”.
Personally i think christians that really believe in the temptation story/Adam,Eve story and then go on to rave about evolution are pretty whacked when they don’t acknowledge the roots of Christianity or the history of all this symbology etc.
Bla bla bla.
You can’t just pick up a book and say that that’s truth. You need to actually step outside your library and your country and start using your mind the way it was meant to be used-that’s freewill! Piece it together-this process is continual, but most people get to a point that they choose for whateva reason, and say well i’m comfortable living with these things that i’ve discovered here and explore no further. And there are some people that just like to have it all handed to them in a neat package out of someone else’s mind. It’s hard work.
I think we need to stop trying to separate ourselves from the Earth and all it’s other forms of life. Stop looking at ourselves as if we are at the top of one man’s theory of evolution. Stop trying to escape from and control nature. If warming is not a natural phenomenon what else could it be?
I’m not saying don’t worry, don’t act. I live in the forest and i blockade in the forest-i lock myself onto logging machinery and sit high up in trees to stop the old trees being turned into paper in Japan and stop them decimating the last ancient rainforests. I also believe in land rights and sovreignty for Indigenous Australians. That’s my contribution. My faith is in the Earth as a living being. It is my “Adam and Eve”.
how is it that everything turns into a conversation about religion?
ANYWAY... we may think humans are superior to all other animals, as is our aragant right, but using the theory of natural selection, we sre too weak to survive. we’re poluting, destroyng, killing, wasting, using dead dinosaurs to fuel our vehicles, were screwed. insects non-sentient, but are probably the most succesful species out there.
and how can Bush state that global warming doesn’t exist? sure, there is the warming and cooling phases, but not this...big.
yeah. go hydrogen and nuclear power! (alot of enviormantalists are saying nuclear power is better then what we’re using now.

The Bible has been proven true. The Bible is the only Holy Book which has 100% accurate prophecies. Many scientific principles are in the Bible and proven. Many historical events in the Bible have been proven to have happened. The Bible is true. Click here to see an article that proves the Bible is true. The Bible is God inspired.
“and say well i’m comfortable living with these things that i’ve discovered here and explore no further”
You think I am living comfortable bieng a Christian? You have no idea... On these forums alone people have said like 15 different bad words to me. They have made fun of me. They have put me down. And in life, bieng a Christian is not easy. We have a lot of limitations and things we can’t do that we would like to do. We have faced many hardships in our past. Christians have been tortured for their faith, like in this way- they tied up Christians, one at a time, to a pole and to a jeep, then the jeep would drive off, tearing the Christian into two pieces alive. And they also have tied Christians to these big barrels, and let the barrels with the Christians roll down a waterfall or mountain, alive. They have also stuck Christians through these big sharpened tree stumps, yes, from the bottom to the mouth. Christians have been tortured a lot. Christians have faced many hard people in life who do bad things to them just for what they believe in. We have to preach against the flow of the river, against this world’s teaching, and it’s not easy. We as Christians do not have an easy life.
“how is it that everything turns into a conversation about religion?"
My fault. Anywhere I go, my religion goes with me. I said that global warming is causing the earth to come to an end, and that Jesus is coming soon. Global warming, in my opinion, is part of God’s plan for something to happen on this earth.
