Most of us use a powerful PC. A lot of the PC is not always used. Why not use it to do something good?

Such as distibutive computing. Which is a program that runs on you computer and does work for a project. Which will help solve diseases, improve propulsion, improve nanotech, ext.

You can download these programs here:
http://distributedcomputing.info/projects.html

Go here to solve diseases such as aids and protien related diseases.
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/viewJoinNow.do

Go here to have your computer study climate prediction and also help people have a better understanding of weather.
http://bbc.cpdn.org/

Go here to impove Particle Accelerator Design.
http://stephenbrooks.org/muon1/

Its best if these programs are ran one at a time and not all at once. Choose one you like and have it run in the background. These programs do not have a great effect on your PC’s speed. Which allows you to work on other things as your computer helps solve diseases, particle design, ext.

Sorry, I’ve got an old computer with only about 9.31 Gigabytes, and about 128 RAM, with very decreased speed, and a bad graphic and sound card. Wish I could help, but I can’t, my computer gets so slow at times. But I’m happy to at least have one... Not like the many in Africa and India who don’t even have a descent home and live in carboard boxes. I saw this very touching picture of a girl and her little brother living in a carboard box out somewhere, thier mom and dad probably died, it’s sad.

Yep it is sad. They haven’t adapted to technology yet because it’s unavailable.

They were living in a box because they were left with nothing else. They had the tecnology in that country to build houses, at least of mud. Doesn’t take much technology, does it? But they were homeless, that’s why.

Technology isn’t just electronics. I’m pretty sure mud is cheap.
